The type of fluid, temperature and the environment of use influence the choice of materials of the pump and its correct chemical compatibility. The table is given as an example.

A = example
B = good
C = poor (not recommended)
D = serious attack (not recommended)

1 = satisfactory up to 22°C (72°F)
2 = satisfactory up to 48°C (120°F)
